And I thought the priority item was re-naming I-69...
The Senate voted 65-30 for the legislation late on Saturday that sets aside funds for a range of priorities including a presidential yacht, foreign aid and energy. It is one of the final pieces of work for the 108th Congress and they may return to finish a spy agency overhaul before the end of the year.
The Senators should be proud-- they actually only set aide 2 million dollars to buy back the Sequoia which has a potential value of 9 million dollars-- a real bargain if that deal were to happen. Of course, if more money were required, perhaps it could be borrowed from the $60 million set aside for the new court house in La Cruces, New Mexico. see www.predock.com%20cruces.html. I realize La Cruces is in a border state and the caseload has increased but a government has to have its priorities.Post a Comment
